    Dragi completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Constitutional History at  Carlton University in 1973 with Honours and received his L.L.B. form the Faculty of Law at Queens University in 1976.  Upon completing his articles with the Ministry of the Attorney General in Toronto, he became a member of the Law Society of Ontario in 1978.

    Dragi is a Criminal Litigator with over four decades of experience in Criminal Trials and Criminal Appeals, with the focus on the offences in the Criminal Code of Canada, the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada and the Extradition Act of Canada.  He has the reputation of successfully bringing applications for breaches of Charter Rights at the Superior Court of Justice in the province of Ontario. 

    He has appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Court of Appeal for Ontario and the Supreme Court of Canada. He has established precedent setting cases on the effect of duress on the striking of guilty pleas and the specificity of apartment numbers in search warrants in multiple unit buildings cases.  Dragi has also appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada to argue a case of double jeopardy of an inmate who was tried in a provincial detention centre and then charged with the same offence at the Ontario Court of Justice.

    Elina Marinosyan is a litigation lawyer with a passion for tackling complex cases. Her extensive legal journey began with the attainment of her L.L.B in 2007, setting the foundation for a career characterized by a commitment to justice and advocacy.

    In 2021 Elina graduated from LLM program at Osgoode Hall Law School.

    Elina’s focus is on Criminal and Civil Litigation, areas that demand a nuanced understanding of the legal landscape. Her knowledge in Immigration Law further underscores her dedication to ensuring justice for all, regardless of circumstance.

    Elina embraces tough cases with unwavering determination and zeal. She works tirelessly to defend her clients' rights and interests, regardless how challenging the case might be.

    In addition to her legal expertise, Elina is fluent in both Armenian and Russian. This linguistic proficiency allows her to effectively communicate and connect with a diverse range of clients, ensuring that language is never a barrier to justice.

    Since 2023, Elina has proudly served as the Co-Chair of the Ontario Chapter of the Armenian Bar Association.

  • Alina Khakimova-Licensed Paralegal

    Alina has over a decade of invaluable experience in the legal realm, showcasing her versatility and expertise across various corporate roles. Alina holds a foreign L.L.B. degree, and is currently on her path to complete the requirements of the National Committee on Accreditation and pursue her further career as a lawyer.

    Alina obtained her paralegal credentials St. Clair College, graduating with academic distinction in 2024 and solidifying the pathway to practice of law in Canada.

    Alina is deeply passionate about human rights, embodying a commitment to advocating for justice and equality. Her dedication to providing exceptional service aligns seamlessly with our firm's mission to prioritize client satisfaction above all else.

    Alina focuses on Criminal Law (Summary Conviction Offences), and matters before Provincial and Federal tribunals.

    Alina is also a Notary Public in the Province of Ontario.
